Bill Cosby Bill Chris Matthew joked while interviewing Hilary Clinton 

Chris Mathews the MSNBC Hardball host recently joked about drugging before sitting for an interview with Presidential candidate Hilary Clinton in early 2016. Newyork Mazine the cut had published the exclusive footage this Friday.

“Where’s that Bill Cosby pill I brought with me?” Chris asked. He joked referring to the claiming that Cosby sexually assaulted women by drugging them.

He was laughing at his joke while the staff around him prepared for the interview on Jan 5th 2016 at Iowa Fire Station during the Democratic Primary Season.

According to the footage Mathews while interviewing the presidential electoral candidate Hilary  asked,” Can I have some of the queen’s waters? Precious waters,” 

The footage was released when the nation reckons with harassment and sexual assault, as men fall off from their position of power through various fields like media, entertainment, politics and Business.

While apologizing for his remark Mathew said that his statement were,” made in poor taste during the height of the Bill Cosby headlines.”

“I realize that’s no excuse. I deeply regret it and I’m sorry.” He added

Earlier Matthew while criticizing Hilary called her She-Devil, Witchy and Madame Defarge A villainous character from  “Tale and Two Cities”  .  Back in 2005 he even asked whether the troops would take orders from her.

In an interview he had pinched her cheek and in 2008 he said,” “the reason she’s a U.S. senator, the reason she’s a candidate for president, the reason she may be a front-runner is her husband messed around.” For which he later apologized.

According to the Daily Report Matthew was accused of sexual harassment by his female staffer for which NBC had to pay $40000. This payment was made as an settlement amount but some sources say that the amount paid was lower and was part of severance.

In connection to this the Network said the comments made by Chris Matthew were inappropriate and not intended as judgment or opinion.

Since 2007 Mathew hosted the “HardBall” and was a host for “Chris Matthew Show from 2003 to 2013
