According to ANI reports a timber shop in S.V Road Andheri caught fire on Tuesday.   Mumbai: Fire breaks out in a timber shop on SV road in Andheri, 3 fire engines and 3 water tankers rushed to the spot — ANI (@ANI) January 9, 2018 This is the third such incident in Mumbai, first was reported at Kamala Mills Compound where 14 people lost their lives, second, the Cine Vista Studios and the third on Tuesday this time a Bamboo godown but, luckily no one was injured in this incident. According to the report from ANI 3 fire engines and 3 water tankers were rushed to the spot. The fire was reportedly said to be caught in a bamboo godown at Amboli Naka at S.V.Raod Andheri. Luckily no casualties were reported as the area is popular as a furniture and bamboo market also is close to the marketplace nearby. Image Source Around 5:37 p.m the fire was reported to be caught answering to the media the fire official said,The fire in the bamboo godown has been brought under control and no casualties have been noted. Since Monday this is the third fire accident and sixth since the beginning of new year. Past Midnight fire broke at a chawl in a Dockyard road in Byculla but the fire department rushed to the spot immediately and brought the fire under control within 2 hours. Apart from taking preventive steps, people should be alert and immediately inform the department about such incidents. Whereas Kirit Somaiya BJP MP during his visit to Cine Vista Studios said,These Studios located in Kanjurmarg and Bhandup dont have proper firefighting systems in place. Today I visited three films and TV Studios and found that they dont have fire safety systems in place. I told this to the municipal commissioner and demanded a strong action against these studios.
