The year 2020 has been full of ups and downs. There has been lot of unfortunate events including the COVID pandemic but it doesn't to be stopping here and now NASA has predicted of an asteroid to pass close to earth on 2nd November 2020.
Recently American Space agency NASA made a prediction of an asteroid of size 0.002 km or 6.5 feet in diameter is likely to come close towards the Earth's surface.
According to the Center for Near Objects Studies at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory an Asteroid has been spotted heading towards the course of the Earth and is likely to come very close by November 2, 2020.
Two years ago an Asteroid dubbed 2018 VP was the discovered for the first time by the Palomar Observatory California a 13 days arc was followed by the observatory after which the asteroid has disappeared.
Forbers report says that the 6.5 ft in diameter celestial body is like to come closer to the Earth than its many telecommunication orbits and moon.
The Asteroids distance could be anywhere between from 4,700 miles to 260,000 miles from earth says NASA. However the impact scale of the asteroid 2018VP is pegged as low at -3.57 according to the astronomers with the aid of the Palermo Technical Impact Hazard Scale.
According to a study published in a Science Journal in the last 290 million years the Earth and Moon have faced such twice as many asteroid impact possibilities than the last 700 million years.
